[ SKETCHES ]
Sketching (n.) : A means of thinking, feeling—through the hand.
Sketching is an extension of my architectural practice. Through sketching, I find ways to observe, analyze, and translate the environment around me. This collection was created primarily throughout 2026, during my Spring semester abroad in Rome, as well as through continued travel and curiosity. Together, these sketches document my ever-evolving relationship between seeing and understanding.
All sketches featured in this portfolio were personally drawn by Margaux Gonzalez using pen on paper, on 5.5 × 8.5 in. sheets.
